I was quite surprised that an international tournament was announced, but it made some sense – after winning the Nationals, the next logically place to go is international. For the most part, I really liked how the story is progressing. This tankōbon is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The tankōbon closes with Sena Kobayakawa and Taro "Monta" Raimon being invited for a Japanese National Youth Team – as the American Football Youth World Cup has been announced. With their last play, the Deimon Devil Bats decided for a punt – a sixty-yard punt. Things seems dire for the Devil Bats, but they are not going to give up that easily and with three seconds left on the clock, Sena Kobayakawa managed another touchdown and two-point conversion closing the gap by two points. However, with one minute left on the clock, the Teikoku Alexanders made a punt, scoring three points and increased their lead by ten points. With four and a half minutes left, the Devil Bats gets a safety, which adds two more points to the Devil Bats (34–41). Sena Kobayakawa finally figured out a way around Takeru Yamato of the Alexanders and scored a touchdown with a two-point conversion. The tankōbon concludes the Christmas Bowl match between the Deimon Devil Bats and the Teikoku Alexanders.
